2000 volkswagen golf fuse box diagram

Hello everyone, I am newbie on this forum, been on Early Bronco for years, have a 68 in mint shape. Ok, moving on. My daughter has a 2000 Cabrio, and the cig lighter has broke or at least stopped working. I have seen several post on hear of a FUSE 41, but I can not find this other fuse box. I did change the fuse under the steering col and have check with meter that I don't have power to the two wires in the back of lighter plug, but do have power to the ring light that goes around it. So, I am guessing that I need some direction where to locate this mysterious Fuse 41.

hmm theres quite a few fuse boxes on these cars. has to why there not in one place i have no freaking idea.

on top of the battery theres a small box. theres fuses there..
against the fire wall. theres a black step like looking cover. its near the brake master cylinder. inside of that cover. is fuses. then of course the drop panel on the side of the dash. has fuses inside as well.

hope that helps u. ive never had to locate fuse 41 specifically..

anyone else no of ne fuse locations or fuse 41?
